How we developed our organic inclinations

Green Earth Organics (GEO) was founded by Dan Henry and Billy O'Dowd in May of 1998. Dan's educational background was in law, focusing on environmental law. Billy studied philosophy and political science. We have both volunteered and worked for various environmental groups for several years. Through this recognition of environmental degradation we wanted to address these issues in another and hopefully equally meaningful way.

Our goal is to provide a service that gives people who live in Vancouver access to healthy, affordable organic food. We recognize that many of the social and environmental ills of our planet are the result of poor business practices. We believe it is possible to run a successful business that is a benefit rather than detriment to its community.
